By working for two of the premier piano retailers in the country, he honed his knowledge of pianos and became a Steinway professional. Throughout his career, Mark has assisted countless private clients in selecting a piano for their home. In addition, he has worked closely with colleges and universities to ensure that Steinway pianos grace their recital halls and practice rooms, and he has assisted many colleges and universities in their goal of attaining All-Steinway School status. Katherine, formerly a university professor, grew up practicing on a Steinway model M and attended an All-Steinway college.

Music is not just a business for the Loves, but also a passion and a mission. In addition to sponsoring community arts events, as well as college and university music programs, their galleries regularly hosts SPG-Live! Concerts, educator workshops and master classes for local music teachers and their students.
